Janeal matriculated from DF Malan High School in 2014 and earned his LLB degree from the University of the Western Cape.

After completing his articles at Bellingan Muller Hanekom Inc. Janeal rejoined the financial institution he had worked for as a student, taking on various roles within the compliance and legal department ultimately leading to his role as Director and Chief Operating Officer. As a Key Individual approved by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), he developed specialized knowledge in regulatory compliance across areas including derivatives and crypto assets.
